Legerdemain Academy is dedicated to the
promotion of the Magical Arts. The name Legerdemain was chosen
because it stems from the words ‘léger de main' which
means ‘light of hand'. The English dictionary defines
‘legerdemain' as "the deceiving of the eyes by the
quickness of the hands."
So sit back and relax and enjoy the Site. The
best is yet to come. We will introduce you to Magical Organizations
from around the world, and magicians of great skill. We will mention
only the best organizations that we have visited. Also we will only
introduce you to magicians that we have met and seen do their own
brand of prestidigitation. However, magicians that have passed away
are exempt, but then we will have studied their life and their works
before mentioning them.
Please note that Legerdemain Academy is
dedicated to the promotion of the Conjuring Arts, and we do not
believe exposures of magical secrets a viable way to promote it.
Nevertheless, we do believe in encouraging the study of magical
feats. So we will review Dealers and Publishers that you can contact.
You can obtain material from them, so you can study and develop your
own brand of prestidigitation. Who knows? We may even mention you
here one day as a magician of great skill.
