Do not be confused by the name of the Society of American
Magicians. It is very easy to think it is for American magicians
only, but that is the furthest thing from the truth. The Society of
American Magicians (SAM) is an international organization with over
250 Assemblies all over the world. It started with 24 members, and
they established it in New York City on May 10, 1902 at Martinka's
famous magic shop. Yet that was only the beginning since then they
have had over 30,000 who have held membership. |
